Come To Our Party

We had a wonderful party this afternoon. We wish you all could have been here to celebrate with us. There were plenty of goodies for everybody.

Mom frosted the muffins she made with cream cheese tinted pink. She said it tasted awful, but we didn't agree.

We each got to help lick off the spatula. Yum!!!

Cream cheese is Tsar's favorite.

We got a birthday card in the mail from our sister Gracie and her new brother Splash. I guess that makes him our step-brother. We sent her an e-mail greeting.

Our good friend E brought us a big box of goodies from Three Dog Bakery. Mom put them in the refrigerator and said we can have them tomorrow. Oh boy, another party!! Mom said she's going to taste them because they look so good. E helped Mom deliver us three years ago. They both said it was a very long night.

Tsar said he wasn't in the mood to party and he was going to lie on his blanket and watch.

Bailey wanted to play with this toy dog.

We all thought it would be neat to sit with Dad.

Tess was playing with a toy, too. Mom says don't look at how dirty her paws are. She was just outside in the mud.

Norma Jean looks goofy in this shot.

When Dad went in the kitchen we all went with him.

He was doing something to the muffins.

We hope he's going to share.

Wow, he lit the candles. They look really good.

Now he's got Tsar's attention. Do you think he'll get up for a muffin?

Look at that, everybody's in the picture except Morgan. We can't take our eyes off those muffins.

Dad started handing them out. We each got a muffin with frosting.

Then we each got a plain one without frosting.

Norma Jean licked Dad's fingers.

Look at Tsar with his tongue hanging out. I thought he wasn't in the mood.

Those were so good Tsar asked for more.

The muffins were gone, but Dad let us lick the tray. Don't want to waste any crumbs.

Then we all went outside to run around in the rain. Mom said we needed to get rid of some energy. We can't wait till Morgan and Tsar's birthday next month. Maybe Mom will bake again.

It's Our Birthday

Today is our birthday. We're three years old. The weatherman lied to our Mom and told her today would be sunny. It's raining hard, so Mom said we can have our party in the house. She doesn't seem very happy about that idea, but we think it's a great idea. Now we can eat our cake on the furniture. Oh boy!!

Mom said if we stood still for a nice group picture we could have an extra cookie. We really tried, but someone kept moving each time she got ready to blink the camera.

Noah sat nice and still.

We're brothers, Sky and Noah. We sit still for our pictures.

Norma Jean stood still.

Aren't we ever going to get that cookie?

Stand still everyone or we'll never get outside this morning!

Three of our four sisters. Tess doesn't like to get her picture taken and tries to stand behind Mom.

Norma Jean and Sky.

This is Noah with his fish today.

This was Noah with his fish three years ago. This is one of Mom's favorite pictures.

Mom has been busy in the kitchen making good stuff for our party.

She made peanut butter pumpkin muffins for us and this afternoon we'll get to munch them up on the couch. Come back later and see the pictures of our third birthday party.

Mr Punk Man

Sir Fudge reporting: There's a stranger living here. He's got a big orange head and that's it. He doesn't have legs or a tail, just a head. His ears and lips are pierced and he has crazy antennas growing out of the top of his head. He sure is weird looking.

One day last week when we came out the door to the yard, there he was sitting on the potting table.

Bailey was the first to check him out.

Morgan had to really stretch to check him out.

Norma Jean took a close look at him, too.

I guess she liked him because she started kissing him on the mouth. She hardly even knew him but she said he tasted sweet.

Dad took the punk man's jewelry off so that Norma Jean wouldn't swallow it, then he moved punk man.

Dad was going to put Mr Punk Man on the tower, but Morgan wanted a closer look.

Everyone was curious about this fellow, even Tsar, though he tried to be cool about it. See him peeking around the tower?

Dad held Mr Punk Man down so we could all get a good look and sniff of him.

The girls were acting goofy about the guy.

Everyone took a turn sniffing him.

Even Tsar was curious now.

Dad put him on top of the tower.

He sat up there talking to the frog.

Tess tried to reach him, but she couldn't reach that high.

Bailey thought she could jump up and get him, but he was just out of her reach.

Then Tess thought maybe she could reach him inside the tower, but she couldn't. She did find a glow ball in there, though.

Finally Dad took Mr Punk Man down and he let us all look at him again.

What is it with the girls and this punk guy?

Wow, that guy gets around. There he is on the deck behind the butterfly bush.

When we came outside that night, Mr Punk Man was glowing and looked really scary. We kept away from him.

Humans are really strange sometimes.
