Monkey Come Home!




Monkey is missing and Bailey is heartbroken.


Sunday afternoon Bailey carried him outside. Then Fudge decided he wanted Monkey and there was a tug of war. Fudge won and the last time I saw Monkey, Bailey was chasing Fudge trying to get him back. No one has seen him since.


When I ask Bailey where Monkey is, she looks all around for him, checking all the usual hiding spots. She hasn't been able to find him.


Fudge isn't talking. When asked, he just smiles and walks away.

I've walked around the yard a couple times each day, but haven't spotted Monkey and when Rob mowed the other day, he didn't see him either.




I think we need our friends Lucy and Beau to help us.


Bailey really misses her friend and I promise to go out this evening and look for him again.

    Oh poor Bailey. I'll send Lucy right over. She totally understands "Find Monkey!" (or in our house Hedgie). I'll keep Beau home though because he'd just help Fudge lead poor Monkey to slaughter.

    Oh no!!! Sissy is packing her bags now, and Gretchen just wants to know if you can get another monkey... she's had precious toys destroyed you know...

    Look under all the bushes in the roots, that's where we bury things. He wouldn't have climbed a tree, would he?

    Poor Bailey. Sydney lost her favorite naked tennis ball in the yard a couple of times. It was very stressful. We hope you find Monkey soon.

    oh my Dog.. where did Fudge hide it.. Poor Bailey. Fudge seems quite pleased with himself.

    Oh No!!!!! This is very bad news - do you need us to come over and help sniff Monkey out?
    We are very good at sniffing - we are sure we could find him - even - heaven forbid - he is in more than one piece!
    Still he can always be mended so try not to worry.
    We will check out the flight times!

    Oh dear. When that happens to my toys I can usually find them in the garbage can due to momma you thin icing them.
