Remember

It was nine years ago today, but this morning the feelings came back as strong as if it were yesterday.

The fear, the pain and the tears are all still there, close to the surface.

This is a day to remember and to experience love and unity.

Those who want to spread hate will not be allowed to steal the true feelings of this special day. This day belongs to us, to learn from and to try to make the world better, to help others and to listen to others. We will not allow the haters to usurp our day of remembrance.

Call a friend today, smile at a child, hug you pet and remember the real heroes, not the hate mongers.

  6. Hi Sue:

I borrowed your theme for today and one of your pictures too, and I hope you don't mind. I didn't think you would.

You offered a great tribute and for that, thank you.

  10. It was the scariest day ever. My friend and her hubby decided not to go to work that day, they worked there. What a day they chose not to go in

  14. We remember. We also remember how everybody was so much nicer to one another right after. Seems that has been lost again. Pity.

  15. We don't think there is a human being on earth - friend or foe - that doesn't remember where they were that day and what they were doing.
