How Does She Do It?

Samba got in trouble the other day for playing in the mud. Mom tells us she has eyes in the back of her head.
 It must be true.
How else could she know when we play in the dirt?

  6. Maybe it is eyes in the back of the head. We can never work out she finds out we've been digging, or eating something we shouldn't.

  7. Ciara has the same question, if you find out, please let us know. The Momster is thankful for the cold ONLY because it means less mud.

  12. Maybe she notices you have mud up to your knees or higher.Do you suppose that is where she gets her first guess?

    Silly dogs!

  13. Morgan, with that light coat, I think you're going to have to try a LITTLE harder at concealing your activity!

  14. Very cute! Sissy's going to get Doggles for Christmas, I think. Her latest round of allergy eyes is from "bulldozing" in piles of leaves!

  19. Spy cameras! It could be those canine cams or some other nefarious means of knowing what we're up to. Otherwise I don't really see how they could tell.

    lotsa licks, Lola

  20. lol...You're so funny! Perhaps if you dye your coat brown, you could get away with some mud play once in a while.

Woofs! Sasha (and Misty, who never plays in the mud)

  22. We humans might have eyes in the back of our heads (I'm sure Penny must think I do), but our dogs have ears in the back of their heads - metaphorically as well as literally, lol.
