We've been having some cold drizzly days lately and while the Porties don't mind the wet weather, I don't like standing in it watching them play and then, of course, there's the problem of a house full of damp dogs.
They find ways to amuse themselves inside on these wet days.
Here's Tsar playing with a loofa toy. First he stalks it.
Then he tosses it in the air and catches it with his front paws. Remember he's part cat. He tries to catch everything with his front feet.
Morgan claims the loofa toy and bring it to show me.
Sky decides to find a comfy spot on the sofa and snuggle into a quilt and sleep till it stops raining. His choice seems to be a popular way to spend the day.
Cute! Our house sure smelled like wet dog this week!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're with Sky.
ReplyDeleteWe've had rain, but at least it isn't cold, so we can keep the windows and doors open. Helps with the wet dog smell.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
I love those photos of Tsar! Gretchen is a pouncher too, but she doesn't catch with her front feet like that!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures! We have a wet house this week too and lots of muddy footprints! Lots of love, Holly and mom
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of Tsar 'catching' his toy. We had a golden who loved to toss her toys in the air. Sky knows just what to do on a cool, rainy day.

ReplyDeleteTsar is pretty funny with his toy!
I'm being like Tsar except I can't catch my toy. I can toss it and then pounce it. But mostly on bad days, I just like to sleep!

We have to be pretty creative sometimes when it's pouring outside. My dog is not a water dog, despire the fact that we live in the maritimes.
ReplyDeleteThat loofa toy looks interesting. I'll have to keep my eye out for something like it here.
That's a house full-o-dogs, yet they all seem to be able to amuse themselves.
ReplyDelete:)
They can certainly be pretty entertaining, on a rainy day, can't they--Almost like "The Cat in the Hat!" :-)
ReplyDeleteI agrees wif Maggie and Mitch! :)
ReplyDeleteWoofs and Licks,
