New Year's Eve

This is New Year's Eve. Mom was going to post pictures from the New Year's Eve she spent in Russia, but she'll do that another time. Our Mom gets sad on New Year's Eve, so we're all going to do fun things together today and try to stay happy.

Tonight Mom and Dad are staying home with us instead of going out to celebrate. We're all having shrimp. They eat the front part and we dogs eat the tails.

Then, at midnight in New York, where our Mom and Dad are from, when the big ball drops, they'll drink some Champagne. We'll each get a cookie.

We want to wish all our bloggy friends a very happy 2011. We look forward to seeing all the fun you have in the next year.

  1. Thank you for the beautiful card - that was so thoughtful of you. Our Mom gets sad on this day too - but we are doing our best to keep her smiling. We hope you all have a happy and healthy 2011.

    Happy New Year.

  4. Sounds fun. We watched the Sydney fireworks on television, I ran around and barked at the fireworks in our area and then we went to bed!

Now we've had our first breakfast, treat and walk for 2011.

Happy New year to all of you.

  6. When your Mom and Dad give you the shrimp tails do they tell you thats the best part? It isn't.

Happy New Year anyway all of you, and a smooch for Tsar. Thank you for the card. I tried to return one but mine wasn't working.

    Happy, Healthy 2011 to all,

  17. Happy New Year to you all. We understand that humans get a little sad on New Year's Eve, reflecting on the year and remembering those no longer with us.
However, we are like you, as long as we get a cookie we are happy.
Thank dogness we dogs don't think as much as these humans!!!
We wish you Peace, Joy and Happiness for 2011 and beyond.
