Our Salute to Terriers
I've never owned a real live Terrier. Libby came the closest, being part Boxer and part Terrier, but we have many friends who do have them as family members and they sure are cute little bundles of energy.
I do have a few stuffed doggies who resemble Terriers and I have these two pieces in my collection.
This piece is one of my favorites, with the Fox driving the taxi filled with a Soft Coated Wheaten, Airedale, Scotty, Jack Russell, Kerry Blue and of course, a Fox Terrier.
The foxy taxi was handmade by Youlia Anderson of Furrytale Ceramics. She does wonderful work and I have a number of her pieces in my collection.

There's a new Jack Russell Terrier mix puppy next door. His name is Oreo. I know my boys are going to love visiting him.

We thought we recognized Youlia Anderson's work! Mom has an Airedale spoon rest that she got off ebay a few years back that was made by Youlia Anderson. She does do beautiful work!

The foxy taxi is really cute. Mom had a mixed breed a few years ago that the vet said had a lot of Wheaten terrier in her - her name was Muffin and she was very sweet.

i, Bailey, am 1/2 schnauzer. human says a schnauzer is a terrier. all i know is that i'm cool - super cool.

I LOVE this and will have to check it out!! I have to say, until we had our Wheaten, I'd never had a terrier, only Goldens. People who think dogs all act the same, have never spent any time around dogs. They are, as you well know as different as people, even when they are the same breed!

ReplyDeleteI have had three terriers in my life,a Scottie, a Boston terrier and a Schnauzer. They pack more fun per pound than any other dog, I have ever known. I do love your Fox and Terrier Taxi, its adorable.

Tagpi thanks you for the salute. Terriers are crazy cute, but for the most part they are just plain crazy. I think once Tagpi is reunited with his family, my hoomans will stick to owning only sporting breeds.
