Getting To Know You

Hello, my name is Fudge. Who are you?
I'm a big dog. Are you dogs too?
Let's play.

You girls are little.

I guess it'll be OK having you live here with us.
The meeting with Fudge went very well. Although we kept him on leash, he didn't show any signs of trying to hurt the puppies. They were fascinated with him. Next one to have an introduction will be Sebastian.

  2. They'll be holding their own in the pack soon. We've never known dogs to be mean to pups, at least when they're little. They wait until after there about a year old before the pecking order fights begin.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & roxy

We thought they'd be introduced to Norma Jean first.

  4. Gosh they're still so little! I'm glad the introductions are going well.

Sissy and I encountered 3 generations of a large family with two "strange" dogs on our walk today. One was a young maltese, and of course, that went just fine, with Sis freezing as he wrapped his leash around her.

The other dog was a QUITE LARGE bull-mix girl. I was worried; would Sissy feel the need to protect me? Nope. Sissy and Schuyler just wanted to meet & greet. If she hadn't been such a big girl, straining her human father's grip, I would have allowed play.

WHEW. That girl (Sis) really is unflappable.

  5. Oh, how very adorable! I love that he was bouncing around with them. They're very tiny next to Fudge, and I know PWDs are not "all that big" (says the crazy Mastiff lady). I think Sebastian will be very nice to them; he just seems like that kind of guy.

Now, are you guys watching the Puppy Bowl? Or are you just holding one of your own instead?!

Which one, Mac or Syd, has a bit of a heart (Valentine) on their behind?
