My puppies are seven years old today. I'm not the only one who still calls them the puppies. Our vet called them that recently, too. To us they'll always be the puppies. The night they were born they were put in this box to keep warm till the last one, Norma Jean was safely delivered.
Here they are with their Mom when they were a couple days old.
Here are some early shots of my puppies.

Some action shots as they grew.
I've tried several times lately to get some nice photos of them for their birthday but most of my efforts were blurs. With some help from Rob and some tasty treats I managed to get these.

Happiest of birthdays to you! I think the red container full of puppies is my favorite. I'm sure Samba and Sky were looking on and celebrating with you.

Happy birthday and thanks for a lovely post.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet recap---loved seeing the puppy pictures! I know it has to be a bittersweet day with two precious members missing. Always in your heart I know.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday puppies! (My two girls will always be the puppies too, even though they are bigger than their mom now.)

It must have been very difficult without Samba and Sky... but I know everyone had a wonderful time and remembered them as well!
ReplyDeleteBelated happy birthday to all! Love the photos--especially the one of the pups in the red tote.
