Oh boy, I can hear the groans from here. I didn't mean to ruin your day, but you crafters know exactly what I'm talking about.
Most crafts people start think about Christmas, or whatever holiday they choose to celebrate, as soon as the last one is put away.
Christmas in July is a familiar term to them because it's a time to make lists or check off existing lists. It's a time to check on supplies and refill those running low.
July is the time to get started if you haven't already because those last few months go by fast.
There are some in line for finishing touches.
A big box of supplies arrived this week for several others.
So don't panic, there's still plenty of time, but stay aware that there are only 157 days left.

Thank goodness I only think about crafting. Honestly, December sounds pretty good right now. :)
I have to get through a wedding first, for which I still don't have a dress or even the fabric for the dress. Are the photos all your supplies? I love that black and white tulip fabric. Beautiful!
As for crafting gifts - The first pairs of socks I knit every year are always the gift socks. I have the last pair on the needles currently because I've been knitting and gifting shawls (think I've knit 7 shawls so far this year). Thanksgiving weekend is always set aside for flannel pants factory. :) g
Looks like some buddy is going to be busy

Even with your warning AND that Christmas comes at the same time EVERY year, there'll still be some last minute panic.
Maybe this will inspire our mom to get started on a new project. Thanks, Miss Sue!
Love ya lots♥

Our Yankees-affiliated AAA baseball team is having their Christmas game on July 25 - complete with players wearing "ugly Christmas sweaters", carols and everything. It was just advertised in our paper today. It made me laugh.
On Monday and Tuesday of last week, I made a dress to send to Denver for that relative's birthday, which is next Monday. Nothing like some good old fashioned procrastination to scare you into hard work!
Thank you for the reminder! It sure does look like you are going to be very busy!! It seems no matter how early I start...November and December are always CRAZY!! :) You have lots to keep you busy!
I need to get moving on my projects!
Lalala... can't hear you...
But wait. There is a very precious December baby coming. Santa hat to come home in, and an heirloom blanket for the mom who treasures handmade...
Momma is sewing hard on a pressie for Christmas!
