I am so sorry. Go find your packmates who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, Miss Morgan, and keep them in line, and then go visit with my beloved Thor. My heart goes out to you, Sue and Rob.

Oh my Sista.....I will miss you terribly. I've told you tons of times befores, that I wants to be you when I grow up, and that is still so true! We are so alike in so many ways, and you just took it that one step further that I so admire. ☺ You are so lucky to have found such a loving family, with peeps that would do ANYTHINGS for their pack! (that's why I'm gonna come lives with them if my Ma doesn't gives me more cookies...BOL)
Run free my Sweet Pal...til we meet again....♥
Kisses,
Ruby ♥♥

I can't tell you how heartbroken I am to read this. I hope that Miss Morgan passed quietly with her family around her on her own terms. That being said - I know this was a very hard thought decision and (like me) you are probably still struggling with it. There is a definite Morgan shaped hole in hearts.

I found this quote years ago - and it's now the first thing I think of when we say good-bye to a beloved four-legged family member: It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them, and every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are. - Anonymous

I'm positive your heart must be all dog Sue because you are as generous and loving as they are. Hugs to you - my friend. g

Hi Sue,
I'm so sorry to hear this. I've been unable to check blogs for awhile so I didn't even realize that you were living (and loving) your last days with Morgan. What a grand old age she reached, but I know you must be heartsick over her loss. They leave such a big hole and I know it's not easy. Take care of yourself.
