Today is our least favorite holiday. We don't like the boomers that have been going on every night this week and all day today. The only time the boomers stop is when we have a big storm with more boomers.
Early today she made this strawberry banana yogurt pie with a cookie crust and stuck it in the freezer. Before she served it she put little star shaped sprinkles on it because Fudge always said it wasn't a party without sprinkles.
Then about an hour before dinner time she cooked us some real burgers just like she and Dad are having.
Norma Jean and Tess ate their pie first. Sydney ate half of her pie and put the other half on the floor till she finished her meal.
Lola ate part of her meal, then ate the pie and finished the rest of her meal. I was the only one who ate my whole dinner first, then ate my pie.
That was a wonderful holiday dinner and we feel better about the noises outside. Mom has little chill pills that we're all going to get just before dark because she says the noises are going to get worse.

The boom booms started early here. We have been hearing them all day long. Misty seems to be the only one bothered by them. She recently discovered that thunderstorms are not fun either.

I am glad you got some good food. I wish we had pills. We had fireworks, and then it was quiet, but no one told the part of Pocket's body that makes her tremble that
Same here with the fireworks and mom says they'll probably happen again tonight and Saturday and Sunday. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr But it looks like you guys had a great holiday meal and that yogurt pie ----yummmmmmm
WOW, what a grreat pawty! I had some meatballs, which I thought was pretty pawesome, but Momma wouldn't share her cake.
We think that's the way to celebrate--burgers and pie! Hope the boomers weren't too bad this year.
OMD!!!!! Oh, how FABulous was that??!! I gots nothin'! Okays, Ma gave me a CBD cap just to see if it would make me more calm durin' the booms, and it did (she thinks...), since I'm pretty calm anyways durin' the booms, it's hard to knows for sure, butts she thought it couldn't hurt! Anyhu, I agree with Angel Fudge, nothin' says PAWTY like sprinkles!!!! I always thinks of you guys when I see sprinkles!

Basically no booming around here this year. Thatcher and Tank are jealous of your pie (they did get burgers on the 4th, though, just like all the peeps).
