Are You Ready For Some Football?

The days are a little cooler and the leaves are starting to change color, so what kind of autumn activities can I get the pack interested in? While walking thru a store the other day I found a football in the pet area. Perfect!!

Who wants to play football?

There seems to be some interest.

Sky is especially enthused.

They also double as their own cheerleaders.

OK, Rob will throw a pass and you guys will chase it.

Noah and Bailey move back to try and stop the runners.

The ball is in the air and everyone is in motion.

There seems to have been a tackle at the fence. Who has the ball?

Sky is heading for the goal with Morgan in hot pursuit.

Defenseman Fudge moves in to try and stop him.

Here he comes with the ball.

Touchdown!!

Ready for the next quarter.

The ball is loose.

Sky has it again, but Morgan is determined.

OK, this is going to be a long one.

They're racing down the hill after the football.

The ball is still open.

There's a scramble at the fence.

Looks like some major tackling at the fenceline.

Fudge and Tsar, the defense move in to get a better look.

Morgan has the ball and starts up the hill.

She has a lot of protection as she makes her way toward the goal.

They're all slowing down. This has been a fast and competitive game.

Everyone lies down to rest after the big game.

This has been so much fun, we want to do it again soon. We were so pleased to see Morgan playing so hard and doing so well. This girl has gotten a second chance at life and is making the most of it. She's a tough little girl.

The MVP, Sky had a great day. Any kind of ball game is fine with him. In case you were wondering, yes Fudge was carrying a glowball in his mouth during the entire game.

Way to have a ball - or two, in Fudge's case. My girls are having a busy day, keeping an eye on the tree trimmer. I'm sure a great game would be less stressful and more fun!

That looks like a really fun game! Aren't you guys lucky having all that grass to run around on. I keep asking my mum and dad to get me some of that stuff.

Woofs!

Yeh, Go Morgan! Great game - action packed - we loved it. What a pity you can't all come to the beach with us - we had the whole beach to ourselves!
We are not so keen on swimming but we reckon you guys would have been straight in there!!!

We have football at our house too, but in the traditional sense. JB is all over it. And - since my gang thinks retreiving is for dogs who aren't them I don't think they'd play.

Yea for Morgan! I'm so happy for you and her. I know you are tickled beyond belief, but I am too! g

I'm not much for football, but it seems the Porti's are celebrating the onset of the NFL season the right way!

They make me tired just looking at the pictures! It's great that they all have such fun together with just one football; there are lots of human kids who don't do that well.

So, after they played, did they go inside and watch a game with their human Dad?
