What A Day!!

Wow, our Bandana Day celebration was a smash!! You guys all sent in great pictures and we had a big crowd to help us celebrate.

We had 126 dogs, 12 cats, a goat and a goose all join us wearing red.

I know it wasn't always easy getting the animals to pose. The cats, especially didn't care much for the bandanas, but you all looked great.

We hope you go introduce yourselves to some of the other blogs. We've met some wonderful new friends thru our Bandana Days.

Here are some shots of us getting ready for our bandana pictures. Everyone was very excited about getting dressed up.

We appreciate the response from all of you and especially those of you who mentioned Bandana Day on your blogs. Some of your friends joined in from reading about it on your sites.

Our first two Bandana Days have been so successful that we plan to do it again next year.

We've been thinking about a color for next year. Since the whole world seems to be thinking green these day, we'll go green, too.

Think of all the possibilities! There are so many shades of green and there are flowers and leaves and green grass.

You can even send a picture of you doing your part to go green and show us how you recycle or garden or any sort of way you help the environment.

Well, there's the challenge. You have a full year to think about it and use you imagination.

You're all so creative, I'm sure we'll get some great pictures of the dog world going GREEN.

Thanks to everybody who joined us this year. You made it a special day for us.

I'll be here next year, and I love plants, so green is a great colour.

Hi!
As a new blogger I had no idea how BIG the Red Bandana Day was until I saw all of the pictures a few days ago! Wow, Sue, you sure did hit the "jackpot" with your wonderfully creative idea! Again, thank you for letting Daisy & Maggie Mae sneak into the gallery at the last minute!
I think Green would be a purrfect color for next year! It would be fun to add videos of our pets doing their part to be Green, don't you?

Well, Sue, you know Thor is a great garden supervisor! So green will be a snap for us. I presume it will be on my daughter's birthday again, right? You've organized a great event here.

Even though we aren't crazy about those bandanas, we had a lot of fun seeing evfurry one dressed in red. We are hoping to visit some new furiends from the post, but Mom has had a rough week with one of the grandbipeds being very sick. So all in due time. Hope you are doing well with your recovery from the eye surgery.

Oh, thanks for the advance notice! Green is one of Haddon Wood's "stable" colors (no, we don't have horses, but old habits die hard), so the fur-girls definitely should wear green...
