Sky's Discovery

Hello Everybody, this is Sky and I have to tell you about something wonderful that I discovered yesterday. It started off like a normal day, we had breakfast and went in and out a few times. Then as I was settling in for a nice nap on the sofa, something special happened.
You see, Dad had to drive across town to pick up something he needed and Mom didn't feel like going. So Dad asked me if I wanted to go with him. That nap could wait, I jumped up and twirled around in circles all the way to the car. I got in the back seat and decided to grab a quick nap on the way.

When we got to the store I waited in the car while Dad went inside. He was only gone a couple minutes and came back with his stuff. He started the car, then turned and asked me if I was hungry. Hungry? I'm always hungry, Mom starves me.
We drove for a little while, then we pulled up to a building that smelled delicious. It had this on the front.
It was McDonalds. I'd never been there before, but Samba and Fudge and Morgan have and they always smell great when they get home. I know it's a favorite of my friends Stella and Zkhat, too because the McDonalds guy in the funny suit lives at their house.

Dad handed the lady some green paper and look what she handed him. And they were for me. ME!!!!
Oh boy, were they ever good. Dad ate a few of them and he had something else too, but I was so happy with my potatoes. They were the best potatoes I ever ate.
Dad told me not to tell anyone where we'd stopped or what we ate, so I didn't say a word. I didn't even breathe French fry breath in Mom's face. Then later Dad told her and she laughed and said she wanted some of those special potatoes, too. So Dad took her out for some.

All you dogs in Blogville, if your parents suggest going to McDonalds, don't waste any time. Get straight to the car and be on your best behavior. Trust me, you'll love it.
Your pal, Sky

I had the fish sandwich. Then I had to take Sue out to McDonald's at night to make up for the fries story. She was really to blame for the whole affair since she had started talking about micky d's fries a couple of days before. It was fun with Sky he is a laid back friend and sometime fades into the background. So in this case he was up front.

OMG, my dogs love McD's too! But only Maera will eat the fries. Argos holds out for a burger (plain hamburger, no toppings.)

I'm glad that you enjoyed your fries!

Sky! I've had those potatoes too and I loves them! Pippen is way more finicky and won't eat them... he's kinda weird.

French fries are the best... and as long as they aren't fried in corn oil, Missy Sissy can have 'em too!

Howdy Sky, you are one lucky dog. We would have to drive quite a way to get McDonalds for us. They sound delicious. We're glad you got spoilt. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Mommy takes me there when I am a good girl at the Vee-Eee-Tee, so I am always on my best behavior. I must be a really lucky girl 'cuz I have had seven trips to four different Vee-Eee-Tee offices in the past month!
