We Need Info

Hi everybody out there in Blogville.

If any of you have experience with a dog with pancreatitis, could you contact me or leave a comment and I'll get back to you.

I'll post more later. Thanks.

Fred had one diagnosis, but the second opinion was "garbage gut" and a bland diet and pepcid managed it...

Phantom most likely has chronic pancreatitis, although he has never been officially diagnosed. He is supposed to be eating I/D gastrointestinal food, but you know his pickiness. If Mom can get him to eat even a bit of it on a regular basis, he does a bit batter. Hope you can get the info you need.

Go talk to Sue at the White Dog Army. http://whitedogblog.blogspot.com/2013/03/march-26-2013.html

Their little Nuka has this and I am sure Sue will pass on what she has learned.

We've never had it happen, but it seems that a bunch of our bloggy friends are suffering from it.

Sue,
Michelle at Boulderneigh http://boulderneigh.blogspot.com/search?q=pancreatitis had this problem with Jackson a few years ago. Her husband is a horse vet. Not sure this helps and so very sorry to hear of further troubles your way. Sigh.

Poor Sebastian! I wish I could help, but it looks like you have a couple of leads here.

Sorry we do not have any experience with it. It sounds like some others have had and can offer insight. RX diets sometimes offer some help. Our Sasha is on it for the rest of her lift. She is doing much better. It is the urinary SO. Good luck with your research for Sebastian.
