A Really Bad Birthday

Today Sydney and Mackenzie are six months old. Mom told us that she had a special surprise planned for them. We all went to sleep last night dreaming of cupcakes and Frosty Paws, but that's not what our mean Mom had planned.

This morning Mom and Dad got up early and put the little girls in the car. Wow, they must be going to take them to breakfast. They'll probably have bacon. Wrong! They took Syd and Mac to see Dr B and came home without them. The girls are spending the day with Dr B and the nice ladies and having some spare parts removed. When they come home they'll be  really sleepy and Mom will put them in separate crates for the first time.

Mom told us that the little girls can't run and play with us for a week, then they'll start feeling better. She said they're OK, they just won't have puppies.

WHAT!!!!! They can't have puppies???? It can't be true! The little girls are really cute and I was planning on making some Portuguese Water Beagles with them. What did you do Mom and Dad? You've spoiled all my fun. What a bummer of a day!
Your very sad pal, Fudge

This is really a very good birthday for the little girls, and for you pups too, with your pack staying the same size until Mom or Dad decide to enlarge it. Just take it as one of the best things that could happen to your pup-sisters!

Work on the cupcake thing, though, your chances might be good for that, Fudge!

Awwwww...sorry Fudge! Butt...maybe the girls will celebrate their 6-month BD's over the weekend and you can have an extra cupcake. That'll make everything OK again!

Happy Happy Birthday Birthday to Syd and Mac - but we agree with Fudge , Portuguese Water Beagles would be just adorable:) OK, we understand, Mom is making a very wise decision. All paws crossed for the procedures to go very well and for an easy recovery for all.

Your mom knows best, even though Portuguese Water Beagles would be cute. But I'll bet Mom has cupcakes and Frosty Paws on the agenda for later in the weekend. And maybe bacon, too.

That's no way to celebrate a birthday! We hope the cupcakes and Frosty Paws come the day after your surgicals, girls!
Poor Fudge.

Love ya lots♥

That's a despicable way to celebrate a birthday. We mean, we've all had our 'Career Girl' operations....but NOT on a SPECIAL day!

You all deserve a day of pupcakes and frosty paws when they're feeling better.

Aww Fudge, Don't worry mate. Your girls will be home and ready to play in no time. Keep on looking sad and you will get those cupcakes for sure! Paws crossed they both recover quickly. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
