Second Position
Did any of you take ballet lessons when you were young? I took them for a couple years, mainly because my friends were taking them, not because I dreamt of being a great ballerina. I even remember the music and costumes for our recital. We danced to the Waltz of the Flowers and wore pink tutus and pink leotards with sequins up the side.
If you took dance, do you remember the positions?
Second position looks like this.

Pawfect positioning!
I took a very elementary ballet class my first semester in college, with all the other freshman girls on my dorm floor. I was sure it might make me less clumsy. Hey, we can dream, right? But it does look like you might have a ballerina or two in your pack! "Plie!"
A Ballerina...yes. We just thought Roxy had wonky feet. Actually those feet look a bit like Roxy's.

Oh yes, we were going to say those feet were just like Roxy's:) Anytime you want ballet lessons, the two girl grandbipeds would be happy to share - they are both quite accomplished:) They even do a class that is called Jumps, Leaps, and Turns.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
No ballerinas here, not even really good walkers (the human!), but maybe we could get Stella to practice some of those positions.
We'll make a little poster and put it up for something to do on those rainy days (and nights!)

hmmm....this sure points to some other breed in the mix, like Doxie or Basset....But whatever they are they sure have turned out to be cute girls. How is Mac's training going?

My track coach called it slew-footed. Gg does it too, but for her, it is a pose, not the way her feet naturally point.
