We're Looking For Spring

Saturday it was sunny and hot. Yes, actually hot. It was 81 degrees. Some of us went looking for signs that spring is really here. Lola is going to help look for signs.
Morgan says you can't just stand there, you have to move around. Morgan has seen more springs than the others and knows where to look.
The crabapple trees are budding.

How about the rose bush?
The maple tree has lots of little helicopter seed pods waiting to fly off.
The vinca under the deck is starting to push up some new leaves.
Best of all is the sight just outside  our front door. The plum tree is in full bloom.
I love these little pink flowers and they represent the best of spring to me.
Sebastian has found a great sunspot, a sure sign of spring.
Oh oh, Sunday brought storms and cold temperatures back. Lets hope the new little buds just waking up can hang in there until warm days come back again.

I really like how Lola's at attention while looking for spring! Morgan knows how to do a proper search, and it looks like she's finding signs of spring!

We fear for the fruit trees. We had a hard frost one year while the apple trees were blooming in our yard and we never got a single apple on our tree that year. We hope the warm temps return for you SOON!

Love ya lots♥

Yes, and we had snow today and very cold wind. Yep, 78 degrees here j a few days ago. Our pear trees are all abloom and Mom is hoping the wind and rain and cold don't spoil them. We like the snow, but warm sunshine is great for napping too:)

Sissy says spring is in her ear and won't come out. Gg says it's in her eyes and nose...

Oliver doesn't give a darn about spring. His Chewy's box came today and he says those big dogs can have spring cause he's staying inside and happily chewing away the day.

April definitely IS the cruelest month.

Our tulips are starting to come up and few other things around the yard. Unfortunately, it is snowing! It was 70 on Saturday and today it's snowing ...

I think July is the cruelest month!
Beastly hot and sultry. I will take the cooler weather anytime.

Today Stella and I were out in the yard and nice, perfect round snowflakes started falling on us. It made Stella (a black dog) look like she was polka dotted, a very cute look to my notion!
