Well this is the big day. Today our own Miss Morgan is 15 years old. Man, that's old!!!! Next year she'll be able to drive.
This morning Mom and Dad rushed us out and back in without breakfast. Then they took Morgan away in the car while we starved. They went to visit Dr B and the nice ladies. Look what they took with them.....cupcakes.
Morgan checked in with the ladies.
Dr B took Morgan's stitches out and checked her all over. He said her heart, lungs and kidneys were all good. He said her weight was fine for her age and he stole some blood to see how her inside parts are working. He even sang Happy Birthday to her. Because she's an old lady dog now, he said she doesn't have to have any more shots. Lucky!
When they got home we all had breakfast, then we waited while Mom and Dad ate and had their second cups of coffee. No point trying to talk to Mom till she's had that coffee. Then it was party time.
Last night while we were watching TV, the big brown truck pulled up in front of the house. Dad asked Mom if she was expecting a package and she said no, but she went to the door anyway. The big truck man handed her a huge box addressed to Morgan.
In it was a happy birthday card from the Chewy peeps.
Under the paper was a whole bunch of neat stuff. Some of it was for Mom like a big sippy cup and some pens, but there were also three big bags of treats for us. Well, technically they were for Morgan, but she shares with us. They were Grandma Lucy treats in three flavors, blueberry, pumpkin and banana-sweet potato. Yummmmmmm!!!!
Did you catch that last one ? Banana- sweet potato. When we hear the word sweet potato we know that Noah and I can have them. Thank you Chewy for such a wonderful birthday present.
When Dad bought the big cupcake for the vet ladies, he also bought a box of little cupcakes for us. The white ones are for us and the chocolate ones are for Mom and Dad. And look, he got sprinkles.
It's really really cold out today which is OK with us but Mom and Dad don't like to stay out for too long, so we had a quick outside party and Mom says we can have some more inside a little later. Even the weather dude is sending Morgan a present. Tomorrow we're supposed to get snow. Yeah!!! What a wonderful party! Look how happy she is.
Happy Birthday Miss Morgan, we all love you lots.
Here are the party shots. Morgan is wearing a Bite-Not collar because she has a little infection on her leg and wants to chew on it.
Thanks to everyone who sent birthday wishes to our special girl.
