It's Finally Here

It's Fall and around here the temperatures are actually pleasant. It's been a hot dry summer, so we're all ready for the change of seasons. Here's something I made to share with you.
Now it seems like the perfect time to bake an apple pie.

For our friends down under, we hope you're enjoying a wonderful Springtime.

That is so beautiful, Sue. We are having some great fall weather too. It has gotten a tiny bit warmer, but it is still gorgeous.

We're sorry Jack had to leave. We know Cattle Dogs are very loyal to their families.

Love the tapestry...cardinals are beautiful.

Here, Downunder, it is so nice to get up in the mornings and only have to put on ONE layer of clothing. AND be able to lie in the sun to read. The Magnolia and Jasmine are at their peaks now, and the other plants are blooming. We just need some rain.

This is our favorite season too. It doesn't seem like we have spring anymore so fall is when we can enjoy our most comfortable temperatures.

It went from low 80s to upper 50s in about 2 days. This while I was sick having spent a few days with Nora...babies and their germs! I hope you all enjoy your fall days.

Thatcher is part Australian Cattle Dog, too, and he's very unpleasant to other dogs, but he does love his people. Except small people, who he doesn't like for some reason. Since he was a shelter dog and about 4 when Patrick got him, we can only presume that children teased him. I am sorry for Jack's people; I know they'll miss his cheerful energy.
