I'm so very sorry for your loss. May he truly "sleep in heavenly peace". And after he has a good long nap, I'm sure he will be running and playing, pain free, with all those who have gone before.[[[Hugs]]]
Oh Sue... I'm so sorry. I know there's nothing I can say right now that will bring much comfort, so perhaps Fudge will be sweet and silly and make you smile, for a second or two...May the love of your remaining pack heal your broken heart.
Monty really reminds me a lot of my Zeus - just different colorings. :)So very sorry and know how hard it is... much love to you & your gang at this very difficult time.
I am so very sorry for your loss, No words can come close to comforting you right now, maybe just knowing that he is at peace will bring some small comfort to you. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.Kathyx
So sorry you have lost Monty. He will now be guarding Lucy and all the other dogs that you have had that are now in doggy heaven.I found your blog tonight and have read it from beginning to end. It has made me both laugh and cry.I have only one dog and a cat but I understand how you can share your love around to so many 4 legged friends.

Hi Sue, Thanks for stopping by!I'm so sorry to hear about Monty!! I was being very hopeful...My thoughts & prayers and Lady & Coco's woof are with you all at this time!Sorry am late in reading this, we've got our oldest down with the grandkids...wow, definitely not a quiet household!!Love to you all, give everyone lots of pets! Hope you are feeling better, think the flu is trying to get us now!
Sleep in heavenly peace, Monty. We all know that empty feeling, despite the tip-taps of many other paws on the floor.... I know you will miss him. My little Lowi died in September and I still find myself looking around for her when the others gallop into the kitchen begging treats...
