The dogs love the weekends when Rob is home with us. They can tell in the morning by what clothes he puts on, whether he's going away in the car or if he's staying home to play.
This will be the activity this afternoon around three, when we start looking for his car.
Morgan is extremely attached to Rob and barely tolerates their time apart. She'll wait patiently by the gate for hours hoping that he'll soon come driving down the street.
She does take time to chase all the squirrels off the deck first so they don't impede her view.
Samba keeps her company during her vigil. Once Rob gets home and changes into his play clothes, they'll all race around the yard bringing him balls to throw and other toys to admire. Let the weekend start!

Yes!! Let the games begin!!
Sweet pups! All of us pupguys have internal clocks that just can't be beat. A dog that knows when someone comes home at 5 pm and isn't there, will do pacing and whining, or sometimes pouting.
But we do know the time of day!
Kisses,
Stella
Love it!!! :) Great pics..
That's so sweet... Fred used to lay in the driveway, waiting for Mark when he was gone. The girls don't care. They greet us with wreckless abandon and punish ME when I'm not home enough to suit them...
It's funny that Morgan is so attached to him that she'll just wait, rather than play with everyone else! Thor knows what time it is, too. He knows when it's time for people to come and go, including the UPS guy, who carries cookies in his pocket!
We have good clocks AND we can tell what's going to happen by shoes. Joggers are best!
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra and Bella
Mitch adores his dad just like Morgan adores hers! Enjoy your weekend!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Awww, that is so nice. My crew know it is walk time by whether or not I am wearing my sneakers:) And the boys head for their crates if they hear the car keys and see my purse on my shoulder. They are so smart, these dogs we have.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
It's amazing how smart dogs are. Matt puts on his swim trunks and the rustling of the material causes Ginger to start doing spins and dancing.
Oh yes, observing the human outfits is a most important skill because some say, "stay away, I am going to work" and others say, "let's party." Enjoy your weekend!
Slobbers,
Mango
Love these pic's. I can just imagine the excitment when "Dad" gets into view.
