P-A-R-T-Y

Guess what! We got invited to a Christmas party at Splash and Gracie's  house! Mom said we had to choose someone to represent us because she said nobody wants to see a car drive up to their house with ten dogs in it. She also said she wanted to enjoy the party, and that meant that she wasn't taking all ten of us. What a meanie!
So we each voted for ourself and wound up with all ten of us winning. Mom chose for us. She said the two oldest ladies could represent us. That's Morgan and Samba.
They wore red bows because you have to dress up for parties.
Our Mom took her camera but she didn't take very many pictures. She just sat around and talked and ate and enjoyed herself. Dad gave the ladies some last minute instructions about being good girls and telling him if they needed to go outside.

Runtley greeted Morgan.
Everyone got treats.

Then came the best part - presents! We sent some toys to Splash and Gracie and some tiny ones to Runtley. Bailey even sent her sister a monkey.
Look what they gave us. Cookies, a special treat cookbook and an ice cube tray for making frozen yogurt treats.
Mom got some stuff, too, but she got an extra special present, a portrait of Gracie. Isn't it beautiful?

But Grace and Splash and Runtley are all getting a super special present. They're going to be a real family. Their humans are getting married and they're all going to live happily ever after. Isn't that a most wonderful Christmas present? We're very happy for them.

We love happy endings, too.

Even if you all couldn't go, it looks like you got some great presents. We're glad the 'old girls' got to go.

Evidently, I'm a sappy mess this morning because that portrait of Gracie misted me right up. Hem. Off to blow my nose, wipe my eyes and wrap the Knight's gifts before he returns.

Happy Christmas Eve and a very happy lifetime of wedded bliss for your friends.

I am so so happy by that exciting news!! How lovely. Great party too (I get a bit cross when my family spend too much time enjoying themselves and not enough photographing me)

Have a wonderful, fabulous Chriostmas day.

Love and licks, Winnie
