An Exciting Weekend Ahead

Hi Everybody,

I have so much to tell you. First, look at these. Dad brought them home and they're for us. Tomorrow is a big day around here. My kids are celebrating their birthdays. That means games and good food and CUPCAKES. There are enough for two for each of us. Wow!!

Mom will post more tomorrow about the kids and the party and stuff, but today is my daughter Tess's birthday. She was born the day before all the others so she gets a birthday all to herself. Tess doesn't like to look at the camera so Mom has a hard time taking her picture but today she came right over and sat down for her birthday picture. Isn't she pretty?
In other news around here, look at this guy. He's really big and scary looking. Just right for the week before Halloween. Mom says he's a good spider. He's a black and yellow garden spider and from his size I'd say he's a good hunter. He's been making a web on the fence for the last few days and Mom and Dad check on him a lot. Pretty soon he'll find a place to hide for the winter.
We have some very sad news to share, too. Last week we lost our good pal, Mr Pip. He was such a sweet fellow and we loved hearing from him.
Today we got word that out friend Benny has also crossed the bridge. Guess he thought little Pip needed a little friend to keep him company. Don't worry guys, our little Lucy is there to show you around.
It's always a sad day when one of our friends goes to the bridge. We know they're in good company though. Think of all the wonderful doggies and kitties that are there. The Rainbow Bridge is probably the most love filled place in the world.

Now I need to go get some rest for the big party. The cupcakes have sprinkles and I just love those.
Your pal, Fudge

Also little Nuka from the White Dog Army.

Too many sweet pets are going to the Bridge and it makes us sad not to see them anymore. We miss you pups and kitties that left us, can't you come back for a visit?

Kisses,
Stella

I love celebrations as much as I love cupcakes!! :-)

But I don't like reading about the loss of good friends--I know they are making new and wonderful friends of our 'old' ones there, which provides much comfort....
