I Feel Pretty

Spring has finally arrived in Springfield. Yesterday was warm, sunny and suddenly the trees started flowering. The cherry tree in the middle of the yard just popped into flower and looked beautiful.

It made everybody feel good to see some color in the yard.

The dogwoods aren't ready yet, but won't be far behind.

I was outside playing with the dogs when Rob got home. When he came into the yard he was holding something that attracted the attention of all the dogs.

Dad's home!!

Hi Dad, I've been a good girl all day.

What's that you've got ?

It's our brush! Can I be first?

Me too.

Do me next.

It's my turn next Morgan.

Me, me, do me next.

Go away, Noah, it's my turn.

Please brush me some more.

You had a turn, now it's my turn.

I'll sit quietly for you to brush me.

How long do I have to wait?

This feels so good.

Thank you, thank you, Dad.

More, brush me some more.

Do me now.

Thanks, this feels good and I'll be so pretty.

Poor Rob could use a couple more hands.

Everybody had a turn except Tsar, who was hiding. He hates being brushed.

They all came back several times to get more brushing.

Please, can I have another turn?

Don't we look pretty now that we've been brushed?

Hey, isn't it time for dinner?

Tsar, you are definitely our kind of pup - it has to be the sibe!!! We do not like brushing either, except on our tummies:)

What a fun, happy post! My girls are both so slick-coated that a lot of "brushing" happens with our hands, or the rubber brush, but it is time for some of Sissy's undercoat to "blow."

I like brushing; but the others don't--glad you got a couple of goes. You look beautiful. The straw over the mud must be working!

Poor Rob had his hands full! But I'd imagine they'd all mob him even if his hands were empty!

My Mom read this ALOUD to me, Three Times, and showed me the pictures, made me look at them over and over.

I hate being brushed! I have and have tossed, a rubber brush, a furminator, and a pin brush (but Mom got me another one. One of these days she is gonna find my hiding place!)

I didn't need to hear about this, I really didn't,

Yours,
Stella
