How do you make a water dog happy? There's one thing that works every time.
Turn on the hose.
They come running to get wet.
They try to catch the drops.
They stand under the stream of water.
They stick their faces in the water.
They catch the water as it sprays out.
They jump in the air to catch it.
They beg for more.
They drink as much as they can hold.
Still they want more.
The wetter they get, the happier they are.
Water dogs and a hose are a perfect match.

Oh ick! Just like my idiot brother.
He is wet all summer long.

We run away when we see the hose. You'd never mistake us for Water Dogs!.......except puddles.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
I think you ought to have a pool made for these guys. Its not like there is just one or two, the whole gang would love and use it.
Maybe they'd even let you use it once in a while!

how fun. My dogs all run from water. g
OHhhh ... now if only my pack would learn to love the waterhose as much as your PWDs do!
At least Joe loves getting his showers without being prompted.

What a great idea for a hot day! And it sure was hot for April! We hope the hose helped to cool you down!
Love ya lots

Well, it just makes sense! Thor likes to drink from the hose.
Brought back memories... My lap wanted to play in water all the time too!
I can just imagine the fun... and mess if you had a pool in your back yard. I don't think they would ever want to come in the house!

Great pics!!
We have never had the chance to try that, but we have to admit that Thunder and Ciara do love to get wet in the rain, not so much with Phantom. He prefers the sun.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
That looks like so much fun! Makes me want to join in!
Piper loves to "bite" the water. That's how I keep him still when I bathe him!
But Miss Lilly doesn't even want to get her dainty little feet wet so we have to bathe her in one side of the sink and let the water run in the other.
sigh... once upon a time we used to play with hoses. Penny loved drinking from the hose and splashing in the water. But no more...
Water's too scarce here now. It's a bit scary to think this massive change in our psyche has taken place in only Penny's lifetime - five years.
