Lola is scoping it out from the top of the hill.
Tess is just waiting for the reports.
Tess couldn't wait any longer and went down to see for herself.
She gave a go ahead bark and the they all raced down to start the run.
Sebastian is confined to a leash while his wound is open so he didn't participate. Sydney and Mac were both too busy hunting for lizards.
But Morgan and the Porties ran back and forth across the back yard till their tongues were hanging out and they were reduced to walking back and forth. Finally they climbed up and came inside to rest for a while. It's been too long since they had a good run and they needed it.
Morgan is going to feel it tonight and may need something for pain before bedtime, but it sure felt good at the time.

Hooray for a running day! It's 61 degrees here today, and Dan is wailing like it's the end of the world: "It's August! It's supposed to be miserably hot!" But he and Brutus have been out putting holly tone on bushes, and happy doing so.
Wonderful! Sounds like a perfect day for the Porties and their pawrents!
Hope you enjoyed it all just as much. All of August has been pretty much autumny weather, with 70s daytime and 50 at night. Wonder what September will bring us?

Looks green and grassy. Guess that rain served a purpose.
Love those perfect days...enjoy.

Funny... Sissy made me run twice on our walk too, and then she "yelled" at our friends and neighbors on our way home. (Four friends walk together some evenings, and Sis was feeling mouthy. One has a basset of her own and encourages Sissy's outspokenness.)
Today was just an amazing day here too - actually it has been nice most of the week. It has been great sunning on the deck and walking with Mom kind of weather. But Phantom will be sore along with Morgan - he has done something to his front leg. Mom is trying to get him to rest it tonight but he may have to pay a visit to the vet tomorrow.
Hope the nice weather continues for you and us.

I'm glad to see you all out enjoying the sunshine.
Your pal, Pip
It sounds like a good day and mine and our crews favorite kind to have--I hope Sebastion continues to mend and he doesn't need any more surgery!!
Looks like a good day in the yard. No more rain

There's nothing like zoomies around the yard! Momma calls them "boxer burns".
Oh yeah!!!! Nothin' likes burnin' off that energy guys!!! And, the tired doggies make for a happy peep!!
Kisss,
Ruby ♥
Glad your pack had a romp-worthy day! Looks like a great time was had by all.
