Gotcha!

Rockabye Sydney
Asleep on Mom's lap.
Four feet in the air
 As you take your nap.

Mom used her clippers
On each little toe.
She said that those sharp claws
Just had to go.

Syd never woke up as I clipped her nails. Playing with her feet as she sleeps has paid off.
Too bad Mackenzie is such a light sleeper. Actually it's hard to even catch Mac sleeping at all. That is one alert little dog.
Sebastian is doing well. He's a very good boy and lets' me do most anything to him. All the dogs seem to enjoy warm compresses when I need to use them. Fudge loves it when I put them on his eyes. I haven't seen anything solid come out of Sebastian's wound and can only hope that whatever it was came out in the first big gush of yuck that shot out when the doctor opened it.
Now we're going to let the wound close and heal and see what happens. It it starts swelling again, he'll need surgery to remove the scar tissue. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Oh Sebastian, why such a sad look, when you got such a happy home! Really, sleep through nail clipping, down here it's called the World Wrestling Federation in action time! Barharahr.

Oh those girls are so cute. We do toes when we have tired dogs after walking. Poor Sebastian, I do hope he's object free. g

Great idea--clipping nails when they're asleep...well, she's asleep. Poor Sebastian, he looks so sad. Give him a treat.

The Knight trims toenails on sleepy dogs. Gg doesn't like him to restrain her, so she cooperates, but insists that I maintain eye contact while she suffers. Sissy cooperates too, so well that it's hard to remember that once, the Knight told me to just have the tech trim those nails while we were there.

We're crossing paws that Sebastian is finally done with whatever was causing the infection.

I hope Sebastian continues to heal perfectly! I wish my girls would sleep through me handling their feet too!

It is just awesome that you are able to clip Sydney's nails when she's sleeping! Wrigs tolerates nail trims, but he's certainly not that relaxed about them. Glad to hear Sebastian is doing well! We're keeping fingers and paws crossed that the wound will heal up and no surgery will be needed.

I don't wanna know, butts Ma does. I thinks there fine all long and dangerous...hehehe
Sebastian, I sure hopes that that wound is gonna heal up, and not give you anymore troubles! Ma is still gaggin' at the pic in the last postie
(yups, she is a wuss, and would never make it as a nurse!! BOL)

She slept through nail clipping! I am all shock and amazement. All but one of my dogs are fine (but not thrilled with) having their nails cut. Karma reacts like you are trying to perform open heart surgery without the benefit of anesthetic. She actually screams. And bites. And bites. Such fun doing her mani's and pedi's. She is better than she was when she first got here though. A little. Okay, very little.
