Cookies
Yesterday it rained all day, so we were stuck in the house. What's Noah waiting for?
It's probably the same thing Sky is waiting for.
I baked cookies from this book.
I made sugar cookies.
Unfortunately, these were cookies meant for humans, not dogs.
I had to put them in bags and put them up high to keep them out of the paws of Samba and Noah, my worst counter surfers.
Does anyone know how to make black icing?

You've been busy! Michael's sells black food coloring. It's made by Wilton and comes in those cute little jars. It's in the cake decorating aisle. The cookies look yummy!

According to a google page, Wal-mart has ready made black icing in a can (Wilton).
Somebody else said darkest chocolate!

Beautiful cookies. I was hoping you had a puppy cookie recipe. I'm curious about what people foods I can feed my dog. She's a crumb licker, so she gets anything we drop before we can pick it up. Today she got a bite of tangerine peel. LOL...I can't believe she would have liked that if she'd slowed down enough to taste it.
I think black icing tastes yuck. I use a dark chocolate ganache. Then if you want it darker you can add a bit of black coloring.
Yummy cookies. BUT she should have made some for all you pups!!!

What a great rainy day project. We have to make human cookies and dog cookies at the same time. So much crying otherwise, from dogs and husband..ha-ha!
