We Got Cheated
Hi Everybody,
All winter we've been reading about our friends getting snow and we've been seeing lots of pictures of them playing and enjoying lots of the white stuff.
We saw Mitch and Molly with lots of snow, more than they really needed for a good time.
The Lapdogs got lots of snow, enough for all four of them with plenty left over.
Our good friend Stella has piles of snow to enjoy.
And our favorite picture is of Dexter. Look at all the snow he has.
All we asked for was a little snow so we could run and play in it. Yesterday the weather dude said it was our turn and that this morning we'd have snow. We could hardly sleep last night thinking about all the fun we'd have this morning. But we got cheated! Look what we got.
Yes it's white, but it's not snow. It makes this loud crunching noise as it comes out of the sky and hits the ground.
It's very cold and very slippery. It's hard to walk on it and it gets between our pads and hurts.
All we got was stupid ice! Who wants ice? A dog can't do zoomies and roll in ice.
I hope they fire that weather dude and get somebody who knows what they're talking about. We want snow!

Oh Fudge. I'm so sorry. I'm still waiting - okay, I've given up - for a "real" snow this winter too.
I keep joking that my next career is going to be as a weather girl. Cute clothes, no accountability... what's not to love?!
UGH! Snow can be fun, though I don't like it as much as some of my furiends, but the ONLY thing good about ice is that if there's enough of it, my momma stays home with me.
I'm sorry you didn't get snow, but welcome to my world--I've been feeling gypped all winter!

Fudge! Dude! Have Mom take out a classified ad looking for a weather dude who can deliver snow! Or else just come do zoomies in my yard. We even have a hill you can slide down!
Yeesh...and we've been watching the snow in ARIZONA of all places on the news and in blogs. Someone's gone a bit haywire somewhere.

You're making us feel bad, Fudge! If you want to know the truth, we still have a lot of snow but the top is all ice-crusted so that we can walk on the top of it but it's slick and it's really no fun to play in.
It's still February and there is still lots of time for a snowstorm. Our paws are crossed that you get your snow, Fudge!

We are right there with you...we had 10" once and then it all melted. We keep waiting, but nothing. Sigh. Maybe soon - we hope?!
Oh Fudge - us Beaglebratz r so furry much sorry u didn't git no snow. We gotz lotz tue-day an'our weather guy sed we mite git a bit more tue-nite. Me'n Diva Shasta were just outside an'when we went in the house, mom had tue uze a towel tue git sum of that snow off our bakz. Mom iz gonna b home with us tue-morrow tue - we don't like the snow that much so u r welcome tue come play in ourz.

Don't feel bad, Fudge...we got cheated over here in Oregon too. We got a couple of flakes (No, we are not talking about mom and dad). Not even enough to make a snow ball :(
But, we are done pouting and ready for SPRING!!

Oh Fudge. I swear the weather man is the only person who can be wrong more than right and not get fired. I wonder how you get that job, eh? We haven't even had any ice this winter. At least you got something cold. g
Okay Fudge, here is a deal for you. If you don't get any snow tonight (and sometimes the weather dork is off by one night), hire a big dump truck to come to Minniesnowda, we will fill it up and he will deliver some to you. We will make the weather dork pay for it all. Sometimes the snoweaters come and take it away but if it stays cold enough you will have it for a few days.

Sorry you got ice instead of snow, Fudge! We only got a little bit of snow from our latest storm and most of it has already melted. Winter is slipping away and it's not looking good for us to have a major snowfall.
