Waiting For Winter

Winter is  coming today. At least we've been told that winter is coming today. At first the reports said it would start this afternoon. Now the latest reports are saying it'll start tonight and last thru the day tomorrow. So far, though it's dark and gloomy, not a snowflake or raindrop or ice crystal has fallen on us. But we're waiting and watching and hoping for lots of snow.
Mom says she's prepared if the power goes out. She lit the fire and has cooked up some chicken and we have plenty of dog food and cookies.
I have a little quiz for you. Who do you think is responsible for this?
I'll bet you guessed Sydney and Mackenzie, right?
Well, you're wrong!  It was Morgan.
The same old lady dog who remembers what fun it was to tear up toilet paper when she was a puppy. And when Mom caught her and chased her out of the bathroom, that same Morgan, the dog with two bad knees, ran up the stairs taking them two at a time. Maybe having puppies in the house is good for all of us.

Keep you fingers crossed that the snow doesn't skip over us again.
Your Pal, Fudge

Hope you get your snow. I'm glad we don't get any down here!

I agree, I think that some youth around adds sparks to the grown ups!

I'll be looking forward to your snow photos--Stay warm!!

Sissy revisits her puppyhood thing for empty toilet paper rolls from time to time. I'm not sure whether she outgrew it or whether the Knight just sometimes drops an empty in an un-lidded trash can...

Crossed paws for snow. Maybe if you get some tonight, we'll get some on Friday?

Dear Fudge,

I'm so enjoying the puppies. You're so good with them. I was certain they decorated the floor with t.p.!!! Good for Morgan getting in touch with her inner puppy. It's good to hear that you dogs are feeling better all around. We are hoping for a decent snow too, but I'm not holding my breath! :-)

Hugs,
Nanina and Poppy Seed

Dear Fudge:
If you don't get your snow and the forecasters are wrong (as they often are), just pack a bag and hop a bus for Minniesnowda. We have tons of snow and if you like the stuff, you are welcome to stay as long as the snow does. While you are here, we might hop a bus for Missouri, if the weather is decent and enjoy some No-Snow. Let us know what you want to do!

Kisses,
Stella and Zkhat
