Getting Ready For Summer

Last fall Rob stood the wading pool up against the fence for the winter. The dogs run behind it sometimes in their chases, but today he decided it was time to get it ready for use.

It had some dead leaves and mud inside, so Rob dumped it out. It rained again last night and today is cool, so it's not a great time to fill the pool. We're supposed to have more rain this weekend, so that should help rinse it out and get it ready to fill.

It needs to be cleaned out before use, but we'll see how much rain we get today and use that for scrubbing the pool.

Everyone was excited to see the pool getting moved back into position for filling and splashing.

Everyone had to step in and check it out.

Hey, there's no water in here.

Just lots of wet, muddy paw prints. As soon as the weather gets a little better, we'll fill the pool and everybody can get in and splash.

Awww! What a good doggy Daddy!! You can tell how EXCITED they are about their pool.

Mine like their pool on hot days, but aren't 'excited' by it. Kiwi LOVED the hose though, and chasing water. If you ran a sprinkler, she LOVED to chase the water.

Our summer is going to be very boring, without our Wii to entertain us!

Awesome! Can't wait to see pictures of them when it's filled with water. Bet summer is their favorite time, since it means getting to swim.

Cute! I think our girls will need a pool this summer. Mugsy loved one when he was younger, and these two nuts would have a ball...

That's IF if ever warms up permanently. Frost warning either tonight or tomorrow. Crazy.

My dogs love their pool too. I love that they had to jump in, even though there is no water.

So very glad to hear that Noah is feeling better and that he managed to keep his germs to himself.

Saw PWD at a winery yesterday. Pretty, pretty dog - completely black. g

Too bad you all didn't get to swim in your little pool. I don't even have a pool so I have to make do with the garden hose. I love to chase it around and get all soaked to the bone. Thanks for the award!
