Time To Come Inside

This morning's sunrise was pretty, all peach and lavender, but as you can see from the clouds, we'll be getting some more storms later today.

My pack loves to play together outside. and they sometimes don't want to stop and come inside when I decide it's time to go.

Tess is usually one of the first to stop whatever she's doing and come when I call.

Norma Jean is never far from me and before the words are out of my mouth, she's there.

Noah is pretty good about coming when I say it's time to go.

Sky is usually one of the last to come. He has selective hearing and is sure I couldn't have meant that he's supposed to come, too. I must have meant the other dogs, surely not him.

Tsar does not like to come when called. He wants to sit here and watch over the yard.

He often turns his back when called. It's his way of telling me that he has no intention of coming in now.

What, there's a special treat involved for those who go inside now?

Well, maybe just this once, but don't expect me to come every time you call.

Tsar is beautiful! The selective hearing is really something. When my boyfriend calls Marge, she doesn't always come. But, when I call her - even seconds after he does - she comes flying back. Silly dog.

Ha, Snoop is just like Tsar....he always has to be the last one into the car or the house, sometimes he even goes under the shed if he's not ready to come in!
Alfie is the first to arrive, usually in record time....followed by greedy Gabbi!
In answer to your question about Thor....it's against Brazilian law to bring peanut butter into the country....i've no idea why....seems like a strange thing to prohibit, not like it's drugs or anything!
Hope you had an awesome Mother's Day :D
Slobbers from our pack to yours xx

Tsar looks like an outdoor doggie. With a coat like that I bet he feels no cold at all. Love the selective hearing... just like a child!

yup tsar looks like a wolf, love that sky with his 'selective hearing'....i call it 'none are so deaf as those who don't want to hear'! keep warm and snug.

Oh, we know about selective hearing, especially at night. It's Spring and there are wonderful smells and bunnies to chase. Hope you are all well.

Your pack never fails to make me smile. Fred and Tsar must have been cut from the same mold. Fred would acknowledge the request, make eye contact, and then do as he pleased.
