I'm Trying

I'm aware that Sky had some complaints last weekend. He felt I was using a flu shot as an excuse to avoid my doggy duties. He discounted the fact that it rained most of the weekend. Of course, as a water dog, he doesn't mind rain.

I guess I have to plead guilty to Sky's charges. I was just being lazy and taking some 'me' time to stay warm and dry and work on my hobbies. This is what I was doing last weekend.

This weekend I'm trying to do a better job at being attentive to the needs and demands of the pack. We've made numerous trips outside to run around and play ball. Rob and I have also had to clean up many times because Norma Jean has an upset tummy and rather then just rest quietly, she insists on eating grass every chance she gets. Then she throws up again. The cycle keeps going on and on.  Finally this morning I forcibly kept her from grazing and it seems we might be getting control of the situation. Why do dogs do that?

We hope you all had a fun filled weekend with no tummy upsets.

Why do dogs eat grass? Because it tastes good, of course. You should try it sometime.

Phantom does the same thing for his daily "purging". Drives the Momster crazy. We hope Norma Jean is feeling better soon. Great pic, Mom.

You look fabulous sitting there with your pack. I'm sorry Sky thought you were being a bad momma instead of a warm, dry on. Beau hurt his neck last weekend, could hardly hold his head up on Saturday, and was still irked to no end that there was no walk on Sunday. Boys!! g

My girls both graze, but Sissy is ridiculous about it sometimes. I inform her regularly that she is not a cow, nor a goat...

LOVE that photo of you and a couple of the dogs.

That's a cute picture of you and the boys. But I don't think you should follow Mango's suggestion and eat grass. The pack doesn't need their Mom leading the throw=up party.

Love to see you relaxing :-) DO IT ! Why do dogs relax and never seem to think anyone else has to do so. :-)
Enjoy your week so. Lovely little knitted guy by the way. As for grass cutting, maybe they know better than us, the reason why they do it.

I'm sorry I've been MIA! Mom has a big board meeting on Thursday and so we should settle into our normal routine right after that. I missed all of you! I have to say, I really enjoyed the post about Morgan. It was fun to get to know her better! How is Samba?

We also got the same question. The Piappies eat greenies here too --- grass, leaves, sometimes even a few flowers here and there.

We do hope that Norma Jean is feeling better now.
