That's Why They Call It Fall

Last week:

The neighbor's tree

Our tree

Yesterday:

The neighbor's tree

Our tree

The Christmas cactus are putting out lots of buds. We should soon have a big display of blossoms.

Unfortunately, my mood is also in free fall. This is a tough time of year for me and I'm trying to fight the depression off, but so far it seems to be winning.

All our leaves fell so fast. Now we are in a waiting pattern for the mowers to get here and clear them all away.

November is a very dreary month - we hope you can find some ways to feel happy.

Our trees are taking turns with their autumn colors too. Keep up your spirits as best you can, Miss Sue.

Our trees aren't as beautiful as your trees are, they just turn brown, sometimes yellow....boring!
I hopes your mood lifts ~ it really can be a hard time this time of year...do you wants me to come and cause a ruckus??? I can you knows! Maybe some counter surfin' or some squirrel chasin' or a barking contest???! i KNOWS, so slobbers in your hair!!! That always makes Ma squeal! Okays, lets me know, and I'll be right overs!

My yard is a riot of reds and yellows right now, and I find depression creeping in, too. I suppose it will be worse after Thanksgiving is over and I don't have to plan to feed something on the order of 27 people? I hope you get sunny days to lift your mood.
