Dinner For Two

What is Morgan watching?

This little fellow is eating birdseed that dropped on the deck from the feeder.

His brother is sitting on the railing eating his share.

Now the hungry pair has climbed onto the bird feeder to get some sunflower seeds.

It's quite a balancing act for these two fat little squirrels to balance on that feeder. Yesterday one lost his balance and fell to the ground. He immediately climbed the tree to get back on the feeder.

Isn't it nice to go out to lunch with a friend?

I wonder what Morgan would do if he went out there? Hmmm, maybe it's better we don't know!

Oh, those pesky squirrels - that's the birds' food - where are you pups - chase them away.

Woos, Phantom and Thunder

Lots of people complain about the squirrels but my Mom says she doesn't mind them. It can be the worst kind of weather, and they are the only ones out gathering what they can for eats. In the winter, its alright to look out and see them mooching birdseed!

Kisses,
Stella

Good thing Marge wasn't in your yard - they wouldn't have had a very peaceful lunch!

Great shots. They look like they're enjoying themselves.

Lunch with a friend, indeed! I'd be chasing them away with my broomstick!

Sissy keeps the squirrels out of her pen and off the deck. She'd like them out of her woods too... I've tried to tell her she'd miss watching them if they REALLY went away.

Oh I so wish mine would sit nicely and just watch. But no some fool dog comes up and has to bark and they all start barking and then the squirrels start teasing them! Needless to say it gets very loud when mine notice a squirrel in their yard. g

Morgan must have enjoyed the squirrel acrobatics. You caught some great pictures.
