Yesterday I was sitting on Mom's lap while she watched the news. The weather dude said we'd get some snow on Monday, but it wouldn't amount to much. We went downstairs and Mom played with her computer for a while. Then Samba said it was time to eat, so Mom put on her coat and we went outside and guess what. It was snowing, hard. We got a few more inches of snow. Why do you think the weather dude didn't know? This is us in the new snow.
This morning the sun is shining and it's a little warmer, so our feet don't freeze up. After breakfast we went out to see if anything is going on in the yard.
The snow is deep now and we can make it fly when we run.
I thought I left my ball out here. Where could it be?
The birds drop pieces of suet from their feeder and we clean it up. We have to keep our yard neat.
Isn't this fun?
Yum!
We'll be back soon. Fudge

What a wonderful surprise - we woke up to rain again - and not too much of it!
I hate to break it to you but you might not find that ball until... SPRING!!
Wags,
Zona
I am raising my paws - so sick of snow!
Your pal, Pip
If you guys really like snow all that much, why don't you move to Minniesnowda, or Montana or even Bear Creek, Manitoba (thats Canada for you guys). I look forward to it coming. But this year, I'm gonna be mighty happy to see it go, too! Just too much snow and too cold, even for a curly haired girl like me.
Kisses,
STella
We heard about that snow passing through your way. Sadly it didn't make it all the way up to us. We hear maybe rain tonight, snow showers tomorrow, then more snow Tuesday. Mom says at least one of those hands raised in your snow pic is hers.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Well! the dogs seem to be enjoying the snow even if the humans aren't
That new snow certainly generates excitement. We just wanted to be there with you...zooming around.
Our weather man isn't too accurate either.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
It looks like you all are making the best of a snowy situation. Have fun with it!
We didn't get snow but they said ice again. Luckily it missed us. Love, Debbie and Holly
Good news y'all!
Today we saw the yellow rumped warblers.
Last couple of weeks a couple of large flights of geese gathered and then left, presumably starting their journey northward.
We had a BIG thunderstorm today and over 3 inches of badly needed rain in this drought stressed southeast.
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
P.S. how do you get that snow out of all those coats?
Crazy weather way over here in the east too, weathermen are really struggling this season. Hope you had a great birthday!
Missy
Woof! Woof! We got SNOW too ... a lot. Check my blog post today. Looking forward for spring weather. Be safe. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Goodness, more snow? UGH!!! I love the pictures and the dogs look like they are having the times of their life. They don't seem to mind the snow, do they?
Oh to be a dog!! what a life!
Sure looks like you guys had a blast in the snow! They Need to invest something that you can spray on the dogs so the snow doesn't build up on them.
If you're looking for a glow-ball wait until it's dark and it'll be easier to find! :-))
I'm not minding the snow, but I am minding all the crunchy icy snow that we have--We need it to either thaw or something to cover it all up!
I do hope you're having a good weekend!!
So on Friday you think Spring, and on Saturday you get snowball feet. And the weather dope never saw it coming. Curiouser and Curiouser!
Your fresh snow is beautiful! We got rain on top of our ice and now it's slicker than slick. The temps are near 40 so mom and dad are hoping to chop some of the ice away so it's not so dangerous.
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Its wonderful to see them enjoying the snow. Where I live in Cheshire, United Kingdom it disappears as fast as it comes down. It is not very often it stays for a while.
Great photos and video, but I love the bottom up photo best. We got rain yesterday, but snow's coming later in the week.
Sorry, I've got to admit that I'm not yet tired of snow. We've had too little here. After last fall's horrendous fires, I'm rooting for a huge snow year (for us, not you!).
Love the romping in the snow photos. Every year, we lose a bunch of things under the snow in the fall, and then find them in the spring. So far this year, it's included an orange dog vest, a red leash, and a set of keys. I bet that your ball will fall into that category!
Great snow pics!
