Dr B, Here We Come

Today was a big day for us. Some of us got to visit Dr B. Mom always gets nervous about it, but we love to pile into the car and look out the windows as we ride along. Then when we get to the clinic we like to greet everybody in the waiting room. Sometimes the ladies give us cookies.
Then we all go into the big room with the table that goes up and down. We know how to make it do that, but Dr B doesn't like us doing it.

First our nurse Kayla came in and weighed us and took our temperatures. She gets kind of personal when she does that, but she's nice about it.

Next Dr B comes in and talks to all of us. Then he asks for a volunteer. Non of us stepped forward so he chose Bailey to go first. She did really good except she licked his face a couple times. Bailey didn't like having the doctor steal her blood. She thinks she needs it all, but he only took a little. Then she got a couple shots, they didn't bother her. She has a couple little cysts that Mom has to watch and she also has to lose two more pounds. She already lost four pounds, but Dr B likes us to be slim and trim.
Next Noah was drafted. He was a good boy and only squirmed a little when Dr B took his blood. He didn't mind getting his shots and Dr B said his weight is perfect. Good for Noah!! He didn't have any bumps to look at, but Mom needs to start brushing his teeth. Oh well, she's used to brushing Fudge's, so why not do Noah, too.
Finally the doctor said, Sky! It was my turn.  I didn't squirm at all when they stole my blood and I didn't even blink when I got my shots. I had a couple of little cysts, nothing important. My weight is perfect, but Mom needs to do my teeth, too, so we'll just have a big tooth brushing party.
Our blood reports will come back tomorrow and we think they'll be perfect, too. Tomorrow three more of us will go see the doctor. Then Mom can relax again.

I am really impressed with you guys. I like to fuss a little and Doc doesn't like it too much, so I settle down. I don't mind them taking blood either, but sometimes the shots hurt.

Mom says I won't have to go until May, so I am OK for a while!

Good luck tomorrow!

Kisses,
Stella

Sissy and Gretchen need to attend your tooth brushing party. I am failing miserably. They don't hate it, but I'm not being good about it. Hem.

Bet your mom is going to get to brush every doggie's teeth before this month is much older. Glad you did well and it went well. Jed practically lives at the vet's these days, so he's pretty blase. Abby, not so much.

Well done, boys and girls. We usually have to go in one at a time. Bella has to be carried! Hope the rest of the gang are as well behaved as you.
