It's What????
We're so sorry to report that today is National Squirrel Day. The girls all agree that it is just totally wrong to have such a day.
The squirrels around here are out of control. They empty the bird feeders before the poor hungry birds can get a chance to eat.
They chew on the deck and have even ripped up the chair cushions.
When we're in the yard they yell at the dogs and even throw acorns at them.
But we're on the job, at least Syd and Mack are on the job. Mackey watches for them and alerts us when they're approaching the feeders.
Sydney has even disposed of a couple of the pests in her own way.
So go celebrate in whatever way you see fit.
Squirrel Day, phooey!

It's too cold for dog and squirrel right now. We have postponed out chase time until the spring.
Squirrels can be so irritating. Your squirrel in his red sweater is just adorable!
We think knitted, motionless squirrels are the best!!! Maybe it should be changed to National Squirrel Chasing Day....oh yeah, that's every day. Can't believe they wreck the cushions.
WTD??!!! I can't even believes my eyes! I was barkin' and barkin' at the puter screen tryin' to gets those evil tree rats off your porch, butts, well....anyhu, that one of the tree rat layin' belly down on the railing is just insulting!! some doggies needs to teach them some manners! You wants me to come overs for some extra barkin' power???
Lets me know...I'm available for cheap...just some sprinkle pupcakes and a margarita!

I bought Thatcher a stuffed squirrel for Christmas. He's worrying the tail off it slowly but surely. He says it's practice for when he can finally get up a tree to catch one of those sneaky buggers!
