She bought us each a 'Tag-It'. That's a little thingie that looks like a teeny tiny dog collar, but she attached our ID and rabies tags on it and clipped it around our collars.
Mom says that now we can change collars for holidays without her breaking her nails moving our tags. If we go to a show, she can unclip our tags so that we don't disturb the judge and if we get too noisy at night she can snap the tags off so she can sleep.
She's been watching these Tag-Its for a long time and found them on different sites costing from $4 to $6. Last week she was shopping at her favorite store Amazon.com and she saw that they were on sale for $1.10. Mom said that was too good to pass up. The only thing is only the turquoise ones were on sale. That's OK, we like turquoise.
We think they're quite nice and Mom is happy so what more could a dog want?

Awesome idea! Our mom hates changing our collars because of the tags... now we know what to get her for Christmas!

Turquoise is good with all of your complexions. It would look good on Mom, too. Does she have a Tag-It so if she gets lost, someone can call you guys and you can dispatch Tsar to fetch her?
I love Amazon, too. It's a great store, especially since you guys can go with her!
We've used Tag-its since Gretchen came along. I'm VERY fond of them, and I don't want to jinx us, but we're well into our second year with them, pushing three years, same ones.

Thats a good deal and my Mom really likes the one she bought me. Its different from yours, all metal, but it works easy on and off. She says she can't tell you how many fingernails she broke on those old wirey things. Hooray for improvements!

We don't wear tags....heck we only wear collars when we go for walks. But we're microchipped.

Great idea! We haven't seen those. Right now we are having a hard time with collars. Mom got us all breakaway collars because some of us keep getting caught on the no-sibe fence and she is worried we will choke. Now our collars breakaway but before she can know that, some pup is having lots of fun chewing them. She really doesn't want to let us go naked, but it may come down to that.

That is a really good idea ... oh to come up with such a good and original idea! Most of my brain waves are baby related these days our poor pooch is so neglected ... poor boy.
This is great. We always have a hard time removing the tags... and it sure breaks the nails :) thanks for the idea Sue. Hope you are having a great day with your furries.

I am sending momma to amazon right now! I hardly ever get to change my collars because momma needs to use the vise to get the tags on and off. This looks like just the thing.
