Thank A Veteran

Today is Veteran's Day in the USA.
Veterans come in all sizes and shapes and species and there are many memorials to canine veterans.

Even our  nearby pet cemetery has an area dedicated to service animals and veterans.
We recently met a man sitting outside our local coffee shop with his dog. When we admired his dog, the man told us he was a service dog helping him with his ptsd  and that he wouldn't be able to leave his house if not for the dog. He told us the dog had saved his life and allowed him to live more normally and communicate with other people.
Thank you to all the veterans of all species.
